The current version of WorldWatcher for Macintosh
is 3.0.5 which was released in August 2007
. This version runs natively on both Mac
OS X and Classic Mac OS 8.5 or later.
(It runs on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.)
Mac OS 8 or 9 users will need CarbonLib version
1.2 or later, which is available from Apple,
as well as the FULL install of QuickTime 4.0 or later, which
you can also download from Apple.

Install WorldWatcher on your hard drive.
To install WorldWatcher under OS X, you must be logged in to an account with administrator privileges. Follow the directions below or click here for detailed installation instructions.
A. Unstuff the WorldWatcher archive once your
download is complete.
(Mac OS 8 or 9 users will need a decompression utility such as StuffIt Expander.)
B. Double-click the "Install WorldWatcher" icon to begin
the installation process. It is recommended that you quit all other
applications (especially Internet Explorer) before running the
installer.
C. Follow instructions on your screen to complete the installation
process.
D. While still logged in as an administrator, run WorldWatcher. It will ask to index the data.
Click OK. Installation is now complete.
Important Note:
WorldWatcher must be installed separately on each machine. WorldWatcher
will not work properly if you install it on one machine and then
copy it to another. To install WorldWatcher on additional machines,
download or copy the installer file to the new machine and
install the software following these same instructions.
