2. Launching the Installer

On the Windows platform, you can run the installer directly from the download page, as shown in figure 1 below.

On the Mac OS X platform, the download file is a DMG disk image. Double-click on the DMG file to open it like a hard disk in the Finder, as shown in figure 2 below. Then double-click on the application "My World GIS Installer" as shown in figure 3 to launch the installer.
