6. Start Menu (Windows only)

In addition to installing the software, the installer can create a folder in the start menu for My World GIS. In this window, you can choose a name for that folder and whether to create it for all users of this computer, or choose not to create a Start Menu folder at all.

At this time, the My World installer is only able to create Start Menu on the Microsoft Windows platform, due to limitations of the installer sofware. The publisher of the installer software says that the ability to create the Mac OS X equivalent of a Start Menu folder -- an icon in the Dock -- will be supported in a future version.

Once you have decided where to put shortcuts to the My World application, click the Next button in the lower-right-hand corner of the window to continue.
